Spring is in the Air – Your Modelling Future Could be Bright

The green shoots of spring are starting to appear, there is blossom on the trees and warm, sunny days are on the horizon…

This is the season when we can start to shuffle off the gloomy mantle of winter and start looking towards the warmth of summer.

Spring is also traditionally the time of year when the modelling industry starts gearing up for its busiest season of all.

With the blue skies and sunshine come opportunities for outside photo shoots and film sessions, in addition to those that take place in studios and other indoor venues.

Britain’s natural backdrop starts to come into its own, with glorious bursts of spring and summer colour, as well as the emergence of the deep emeralds, luscious limes and magnificent minty greens of our verdant countryside settings.

This is the time of year when clients start to deluge authentic, reputable agencies, such as Models Direct – that have earned their trust over decades of developing strong relationships – with requests for models.

They seek even greater numbers of female and male models, as well as children, teenagers and even babies.

They ask us for older models, plus-size models, petite models and tall models – and of all appearances, heritages and backgrounds.

Clients range from the high street names we encounter every day to smaller, boutique companies with their own niche promotions.

We need models who are comfortable in front of a camera and those with acting skills, who are happy to perform on film.

Many of us may be looking forward to escaping this summer and are perhaps already planning that much-needed holiday.

Firming up arrangements is great as it helps you to know when you might be available to take on assignments.

Others may decide they want to stay closer to home and to enjoy everything there is to offer during the summer months right on their doorsteps.

If this is what you are currently mulling over, then, again, why not think about whether you might be prepared to take on a little modelling work that fits in with those plans?

We never promise to get work for everyone who signs up with us, but we certainly do our very best.

Experienced models and would-be models are all put in front of clients requiring someone of their particular type – and then those clients make the final decision.

The future is never certain, but we are all starting to feel the joys of spring, so why not make it a summer of fun too and put yourself in the running for some work through Models Direct?
