The smaller the package, the bigger the surprise.

Well, maybe many parents are not surprised at their child’s talents because they know what they’re capable of. Our clients scan all our model’s portfolio pictures before they make their choices, and this is particularly important for child models. Younger models can appear more eye-catching, and they possess the “cuteness factor” which is always well received. It’s never too early to be a commercial model as our wealth of baby models prove. The success stories highlight the level of enjoyment attained by our models, as well as how useful they are to clients around the country; without wonderful modelling talent, there wouldn’t be any adverts in print or on screen.
Young children are largely devoid of nerves. Some get nervous, naturally, and that’s a natural human response ahead of a new job. However, babies and toddlers can adapt in a safe environment without fear of making mistakes, which is a huge advantage whilst on set. In short, our clients love to work with younger models, and they are an extremely valuable asset in our vast stable of models.
The journey from household to professional modelling set can be a long one. It can also be a surprisingly short one, depending on the number of available jobs and number of clients requiring models.

How can parents present their adorable children to clients? What’s the best way to elevate them into the spotlight? Here are the three most important factors parents must be aware of:
Step 1 – the preparation. We’re sure most children love engaging with adults in a playful manner. The more time children spend with adults, the more they’ll be familiar with different environments. Young models may not be on set with other children, so they must be comfortable around other adults. Parents have the security of knowing that they must be on set with their children (we insist on this), but once their child is settled, leave it to the professional photographers or filmmakers to do their thing.

Step 2 – Research suitable modelling employment agencies. These should suit both parent and young model. Go with your gut instinct, as these are rarely wrong. We offer job opportunities for models of all ages in all parts of the country; we don’t specialise in any one area because we have a huge number of clients based in every corner of the UK. In turn, this allows us to offer exceptional modelling jobs that are convenient with a high percentage of our models.
When you’ve completed your research, choose the right employment agency and always keep in mind this vital piece of advice: not all “agencies” are employment agencies. Some merely charge a fee for photographs with no intention of actively looking for work on behalf of models.
Step 3 – Once you’ve registered your baby / child with a modelling employment agency, keep abreast of all modelling agency news. Keep taking photos of your child and update them to your ePortfolio. All our clients (the decision makers) look at a model’s portfolio before telling us of their choices, so remember to update portfolios every couple of months or so.
By following these three steps, we wish you all the luck in finding work for your darling child!
