In case you don’t already know, we’re probably the most inclusive employment modelling agency in the UK. We’re certainly the most popular with our models and clients. This isn’t a flippant boast; our range of clients and diverse array of talented models speak for themselves – as do the range of job locations we organise with our models.

Why do we say that modelling is for everyone? And why could 2026 be the year that YOU could make a difference in the commercial modelling industry?
Modelling with us is for everyone, because we’ve been putting models of all ages, all backgrounds, all looks and all talents with our clients for decades. We don’t specialise in a particular look, because our clients are always searching for everyday models with all sorts of looks to help them appeal to the greater audience, which is the general public. Their potential customer bases are usually people who you see and meet every day at work, at university, or just ion the high street in any town or city across the country. Without a range of models, clients wouldn’t be able to make everyone aware of the products and services they have to offer.
We promote diversity for two main reasons:
1. We believe no one with the dream of becoming a commercial model should be deterred or hindered purely because of their looks. Whilst it’s true that a lot of “high fashion” jobs for glossy magazines and high-end luxury brands call for more specific looks, we are not an employment agency interested in this sector. Instead, we are government regulated and focus on commercial modelling – and that means giving everyone a chance to be seen by the people that make the decisions – and those are our clients. Without agencies like us, thousands of potentially talented commercial models wouldn’t even be seen by top brands.

2. Diversity brings with it the full range of models. We have babies and toddlers and models over the age of 40 on our books, as well as teenagers and young adults. We’ve placed hundreds of families and pets, too, complementing a full spectrum of modelling talent. So, diversity helps everyone involved, including us. Why wouldn’t we champion diversity in all its glory?
Everyone likes to try new things at the beginning of the year (including giving up certain vices!), so 2026 could be the year that you think seriously about making the first step and become a Models Direct model.

We don’t ask for experience, and we don’t ask for professional photos or portfolios. All we do ask for is that you do your research, and complete the online registration form, which includes basic contact information and two clear headshot photos. After that, our team will be in touch to take you through the procedure in more detail.
If trends continue, 2026 will bring even more opportunities for a wider range of talent. We’ll have even more clients, and we’ll be able to satisfy even more models – both old and new.
