But is it important for mature models to look their age?
As they are being chosen as representatives of the older generations, should mature models look a certain way in order to secure themselves work?
No! Of course, not!
Here at Models Direct we celebrate all our men, women and children for their wonderful differences…
These days, there is no set way to look at any particular age.
While many older people choose to embrace the aging process and let their hair go grey or white, others prefer to use hair dyes, tints and highlights.
Some mature models opt to keep their hair looking casual and natural in style, while for others it is a point of pride to attend the salon for the sharp, contemporary cut they enjoy.
Our mature models also dress very individually to reflect their personalities.
These days many older people are not prepared to just slip into something plain and simple – they want to look their best and have fun with their attire…
And why not?
There are no rules as to how someone in their upper decades should dress – it is all about having fun, feeling great and being confident enough to wear whatever you want.
Many of our mature models wear glasses but some choose to use contact lenses instead.
Others may need hearing aids, walking sticks or other forms of support and, of course, that should be embraced too – why not use anything that makes life a little easier?
