Mini Models, Big Moments – How to Get Your Child on Set

If you were asked to describe your child in three words, what would they be?

Confident? Amusing? Open?

Your answer could be anything you choose it to be! Children are inquisitive and certainly creative people bursting with lots of energy. They demonstrate a whole set of qualities which one could arguably say their adult counterparts do not possess – innocence, curiosity and a natural thirst to learn and develop.

Your child aged 2-12 could be bubbly and enthusiastic particularly when it comes to having their pics taken, raising their hand to answer questions or participating in class plays.

If you feel like your little one has a confident side who wouldn’t mind trying something new, then they could be walking on set as a child model and earn some money which you could put towards their savings.

Child modelling with Models Direct is a favourite modelling category of our existing models and those who are interested in joining our MD family, and to be honest, it’s one of our favs too!
Our modelling agency never intends to compromise on children’s education, their right to safe working environments and suitable working hours whilst keeping their health, happiness and curiosity at the top of the list.

If you’re looking for the support of a reputable agency, then you’re at the right place. Models Direct supports our child models to not only get booked for modelling gigs but also ensure that they and their parents/guardians are completely satisfied with the experience.

What does your child have to do to join our agency?

1. Register with us using our online application form whilst providing a recent headshot. It’s easy. A parent or guardian over 18 needs to do this for them.
2. Create their portfolio so that our agency and clients can see their diversified images.
3. Keep in touch with our agency so that you can get first-hand modelling industry info by following us on our socials and subscribing to our blogs.
4. If your child is attending school, you can inform them that they’ve registered with a modelling agency as sometimes we have gigs that take place during term time, although you are welcome to decline jobs if you wish to (we only ask that you let us know as soon as possible so that we can fill the role with another child model).

If they’re homeschooled you can let your local home education contact know as this will form part of their home learning experience.

And there you have it, lovely readers! We hope that you register your mini model aged 2-12 with our agency for big moments with clients such as TfL and Morrisons by getting your child model on set.
