The Models Direct Assignments Team often receive modelling jobs asking for real families. But what’s it like modelling as a family?
“Yet again another fab day on an assignment for Models Direct. We have had a brilliant day on our photo shoot for a pensions brochure. Meqele, Ben and Simon all looked after us really well and made the day so much fun. We started our day in a home environment, baking and having fun in and around the house. We then moved on to the Battersea Park zoo, the kids thought it was amazing, especially feeding and petting the animals. We finished off with ice cream and playing ball in Battersea park. What a fun filled day, very tiring but lots of fun. A big thanks to Marie from Models Direct for putting us forward for the job. We look forward to more adventures soon.” – The Burton Family

Friends are essential in life, whether you choose to have a special few or you’re one of those people who have friends all round the world, they all offer us different things!
We see our colleagues every day and probably spend more time with them than our families in some cases, so it’s lovely when you have ‘work friends’ too. Models Direct’s head office is predominately female, we rely on each other for support, advice and of course humour when times are stressful or difficult, it’s great to have a strong team of people around you who you can call your friends.
The internet has changed dramatically over the last few years, particularly social media and the ability we now have to promote ourselves online, you could ask…..Why have an agent??
Models Direct has been established for nearly 30 years and has seen how the modelling & talent industry has evolved and why it’s now more important than EVER to be with a professional agency – here’s why:
During the final of ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’ on Sunday evening the Models Direct team were super excited to catch a glimpse of the new Pampers commercial featuring our models Renatta and Alisha……
This assignment was such an exciting opportunity for the girls, sometimes job like these come up quickly for models, other times they can wait for sometime to be selected for a role like this, to work with a huge high street brand such as Pampers, appear on prime time TV, and receive a nice pay cheque too!
Huge congratulations to our model Emily who recently secured her first modelling job with Models Direct!
Emily was incredibly excited to have been selected for this assignment as she would be working with one of Models Direct’s regular clients for their latest advertising campaign! Congratulations Emily!!
It’s a fairly girly team here at the Head Office of Models Direct, with a few boys in the mix too, you can imagine there’s a lot of discussion on the latest beauty products, fashion fixes and food choices – so here is our pick of Model Direct’s top beauty products:
We are loving the Bumble and Bumble Haircare range, particularly the Quenching shampoo! It leaves your hair super soft, without feeling weighty and smells delish too!
What type of work can I expect when signed by a commercial modelling agency like Models Direct?
In the commercial modelling industry there are several different types of work you could be considered for. At Models Direct we represent models with lots of other talents too, so can provide models to s varied selection of clients across the UK.
With the competitiveness of modelling world today many disabled models may be overlooked but at Models Direct, our policy is to offer all our models the same opportunities whether disabled or able bodied.
In addition to the everyday modelling assignments which are open to all disabled models, we have clients who want models to advertise disabled promotions or to sell specific disabled products. Although, as in the world of sport which has embraced disabled people for many years now, within the fashion and modelling industry we are learning that whatever disability you have there is a need to be inclusive when it comes to disabled models and not just to advertise wheelchairs!
